NEOD Contracting Ltd. – Construction Painting Supervisors Needed!!!
Job Location: Various client sites across Vancouver & the Lower Mainland, BC
Company Address: 1001-821 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V6B 0E3
What we offer:
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Competitive hourly wage: $37.50
Requirements:
- 2-3 years painting experience including supervisory/lead hand duties
- English sufficient for crew/client coordination
- High school diploma
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise & coordinate activities of painters and helpers; plan, schedule, and dispatch crews and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints/specs, set work methods, and ensure quality standards and building code/safety compliance.
- Estimate labour, time, and materials; order and track supplies; maintain job records and progress reports.
- Train/mentor workers and enforce site safety.
- Inspect work, resolve site issues, liaise with clients/GCs, and recommend personnel actions (hiring, promotions, discipline).
- Hands-on support with complex prep/finishing when needed to keep schedules on track.
