Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $52 per hour
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation per year; in accordance with BC employment standards

Job Duties
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the overall activities and operations of the construction projects, including concurrent residential and commercial projects;
• Develop and prepare construction schedules, milestones, and project workflows; monitor progress from design-drawing stage through permitting, construction, and final handover;
• Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, review cost forecasts, and manage project budgets to ensure profitability and transparent pricing for clients;
• Prepare, review, and negotiate construction contracts, as well as revisions, change orders, and additions to contractual agreements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors;
• Select, hire, and coordinate the activities of trade subcontractors (framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, gas, millwork, etc.) and supervise in-house site supervisors and construction staff;
• Direct the purchase of building materials, equipment, and supplies, and oversee logistics for multi-site renovation projects;
• Develop and implement quality control, safety, and WorkSafeBC compliance programs across all project sites;
• Represent the company in meetings with clients, designers, government officials, and suppliers on matters including business services, contract negotiation, and project delivery;
• Review and resolve technical, constructability, and scheduling issues encountered during commercial (restaurants, retail, offices) and residential (renovations, tear-down-and-rebuild) projects;
• Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluation to project management and site personnel.
Job Requirements
• At least a college diploma in construction technology, construction engineering or a related field; higher education is strong preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the construction industry, including experience managing commercial and residential renovation or design-build projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
