Construction Labourer- Masonry Background Job

At this time, F&R Landscape is looking for skilled and qualified Construction Labourers who have a background in masonry and want to make a career for themselves within the trades. Candidates must be motivated, willing to take on dirty, physically demanding duties. The role requires early mornings, assisting skilled trades people, mortar and concrete prep, cleaning and prepping job sites , loading and unloading construction materials and equipment. Salary- $36.00 to $38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities/Tasks
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Read blueprints to determine work requirements
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Pave and rake asphalt
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Perform routine maintenance work
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience- Concrete vibrators, Concrete saws, Tuggers, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Small front end loaders, Sandblasters, Sledgehammer
