Construction Labourer Job

GRRC Roofing is looking for skilled and qualified Construction Labourers who have some knowledge working in the roofing industry, are motivated, willing to take on dirty, physically demanding duties and make a career for themselves within the trades. The role requires to be the right hand support of skilled and qualified Roofers. Candidates must have experience in working at heights, handling physical labor, site preparation, material transport and basic installation. The role early mornings, assisting with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment, cleaning, and prepping job sites.

Salary- $37.00 to $39.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities/Tasks
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Read blueprints to determine work requirements
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Pave and rake asphalt
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Perform routine maintenance work
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience, Bobcats, Concrete vibrators, Reciprocating saws. Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Beltcretes, Grouting machine, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Augers, Torches, Small front end loaders, Compactor, Sledgehammer

Construction specialization- Industrial, commercial and institutional
