Position: Construction Labourer and Helper

Work Location: Various construction sites across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
Perform pre-operational inspections of tools and equipment.
Clean and lubricate cranes and construction equipment.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
Mix, pour, and spread concrete and asphalt materials.
Assist with drilling, excavation, and blasting operations where required.
Pave, rake, and finish asphalt surfaces.
Remove rubble, debris, and salvage materials from construction sites.
Operate or assist with construction machinery and equipment.
Direct traffic safely around construction work zones.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of construction labour experience.
Experience working on road construction, asphalt paving, concrete, or civil infrastructure projects is preferred.
Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites.
Willingness to travel regularly to various job sites.
Equipment and hand tools experience

Experience operating or working with:

Bobcats
Curbing machines
Concrete vibrators
Concrete saws
Drills
Sandblasters
Sledgehammers
Hand tools

Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset:

Asphalt paving
Poured concrete
Driveways
Sidewalks and curbs
Residential construction
Commercial construction
Industrial and institutional projects
Work Environment
Outdoor construction sites
Urban and rural locations
Working at heights
Underground work
Confined spaces

Applicants must have:
Personal hand tools
CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots
