Construction Laborer Job

Provide labor assistance for removing and installing Underground Storage Tanks, pour and finish concrete as needed, collect soil and groundwater samples, direct trucks for loading and traffic control, cleanup construction jobs, assemble trench shoring, ability to operate small machinery and equipment, transport small trailers to job sites, miscellaneous labor duties.

- Assist in the installation of underground storage tanks according to established safety guidelines and project specifications.
- Carry out excavation duties, including digging trenches and holes for underground storage tank placement.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of tank components, ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings.
- Assist with the handling and positioning of heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, and backhoes.
- Connect and secure pipework and fittings, ensuring proper sealing and functionality.
- Conduct basic maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and tools used in the installation process.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with the installation team, following instructions and communicating any challenges or concerns.
- Assist in job site cleanup and disposal of debris, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

We are an Environmental Contractor and Consultant. We provide Underground Storage Tank Removal and Installation services for gas station facilities throughout Illinois. We also provide soil and groundwater investigation and sampling services and soil remediation.
