Construction Inspector- Quality Control Job

Global Precast, established in 1994, is a family owned and operated business that manufactures, supplies and erects precast concrete in various types of construction projects throughout the United States and Canada. Global Precast has been in the business of manufacturing, supplying, and installing precast for approximately 25 years.

At this time, the Company is looking for skilled and qualified Construction Inspectors, specializing in Quality Control, who are motivated and want to further their career in the trades. Applicants are required to ensure concrete segments meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety codes by inspecting materials, formwork, and reinforcement before casting. Ability to monitor production (slump, air, temp), test concrete strength, perform final dimensional checks, and document, manage, or reject non-conforming finished products.
Candidates must be hard working, possess excellent problem solving skills, safety awareness, attention to detail, physical strength and stamina.

Salary- $36.00 to $38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities/Tasks
Assist manager in the implementation of safety programs
Examine plans, drawings and site layouts
Inspect construction of building and engineering construction
Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes
Enforce steel and concrete installation codes
Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
