Construction Inspector (NOC 22233) Job

Assist manager in the implementation of safety programs
Evaluate safety programs
Examine plans, drawings and site layouts
Plan safety programs
Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public
Inspect construction of building and engineering construction
Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes
Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
Inspect existing buildings for structural defects and fire hazards
Inspect and provide reports on condition of new or resale homes

Education Requirement:
College/CEGEP
or equivalent experience

Experience Requirement:
3 years or more

Employment Requirements
• Completion of a college diploma or university degree in related field.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
