Construction Helper Job

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, HVAC units, and related equipment to and from work sites
• Prepare and clean construction and renovation sites by removing debris and ensuring safe access for technicians
• Drill, cut, or prepare openings in walls, floors, and ceilings for ductwork, piping, and venting installations
• Hold, align, and secure materials or components in place during assembly or installation
• Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, ladders, and temporary supports as required on site
• Dig and backfill trenches for underground piping and connections
• Handle and apply basic construction materials such as insulation, sealants, or adhesives under direction
• Perform other general labour tasks to support HVAC installation projects on construction sites

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving HVAC units, materials, and equipment, and comfortable working in various construction site conditions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools to support installation tasks
• Previous related construction labor experience is an asset, but not required, training will be provided
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and cooperate effectively as part of a team
