Job Description:
Job Title: Construction helper
Location: 14681 107 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3R 1T9
Wage - $25/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% vacation pay
Number of Positions- 1
Employment type – Permanent, full-time
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Requirements:
Education: None
Experience: None (will train)
Language: English
Job duties:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials.
• Assist heavy equipment operators.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Fast paced environment, repetitive tasks, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty.
