Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Calgary Region, as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $36.80 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: No Education Required.
Experience: No Experience Required. On job training will be provided.
Languages: Basic English
Job Duties:
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders etc. required at construction sites.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Assist trade person in construction activities.
• Assist trade person to secure/unsecure special attachments to equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
• Assist in aligning wooden structures, mouldings and perform related activities.
• Remove rubble and other debris at work sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in carpentry.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as direct
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
