Position: Construction Helper
Employer: Newton Rebar Service Ltd.
Location: Surrey, BC (Postal Code: V3T 3W8)
Salary: $36.60 per hour / 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Night, On Call, Shift, Weekend
Start Date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 4 openings
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt.
Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
Help with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
Clean up chemical spills and contaminants.
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Qualifications:
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience: Experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
Work Environment:
Outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces.
Eligibility:
Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents of Canada can apply.
