Permanent Position: Construction Helper (NOC 75110)

Main Location: Surrey, BC
Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $23.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: No Education Required
Experience: No Experience Required. On Job training will be provided.
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Clean surfaces and mix compounds for filling joints and smoothing out surfaces.
• Clean the work area after the shift.
• Handover drywall sheets for installation.
• Mix, pour and spread materials used in drywall installation.
• Perform other duties as directed by drywall installer and construction supervisor.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch, for long periods.
• Able to lift heavy weight.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
