Required Construction Helper (TEER 75110)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Load, unload and move construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespersons with general construction activities.
• Prepare and clean construction sites before, during and after work.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and other construction materials.
• Assist with excavation, grading and site preparation.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools as required.
• Assist with installation, dismantling and removal of temporary structures.
• Collect, sort and dispose of construction debris and waste.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use required protective equipment.

Requirements and skills
Education and Experience: Completion of secondary school is required. Experience will be an asset.
