Job Type
• Full-time, Permanent (35-40hrs/week)

Salary
• $ 25.25 per hour (paid bi-weekly)

Education
• Completion of secondary school is an asset

Qualifications & Experience
• Training will be provided

Specific Responsibilities:
• Provide general assistance and support to other tradesperson such as carpenters, painters, bricklayers, concrete mixers etc. in construction activities
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the construction site.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and organized condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.
• Assist heavy equipment operators in attaching specialized equipment to machinery and provide guidance signals for safe equipment movement.
• Clear construction sites of rubble and debris using wheelbarrows, shovels, and other tools.
• Participate in cleanup efforts for chemical spills and hazardous materials, including the removal of asbestos.
• Direct traffic around construction sites to ensure safety and facilitate smooth traffic flow.

Specific Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination,
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling,
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
