DCM Metal Corp. is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team in Etobicoke, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and assisting with bid submissions for construction-related projects.

Work Location: On site
Salary: $38.50 to $40.00 hourly, to be negotiated
Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full time
Schedule: Working hours from 09:00 to 15:00
Start Date: As early as 2026-09-01

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Operate CADD and other computer software systems
Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bid forms
Review and analyze tenders, drawings, specifications and project documents
Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
Assist with cost monitoring, reporting and project estimating documentation
