Construction Electrician Job

Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications for installation.
• Install wiring and cables, brackets, hangers, lighting fixtures and electrical control, equipment, etc.
• Install electrical components for HVAC systems, including fireplace, gas furnace, hot water tank, tankless water heater, wall mount heater, HRV, ERV, and heat pumps.
• Install EV chargers, solar PV systems, home appliances, fire alarm and surveillance systems, and other related electrical devices
• Splice, join and connect wires
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Connect power to equipment
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Electrical permit application.

Credentials:
1. Red Seal Construction Electrician is required (Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate)
