Job Title: Construction carpenter
Location: 12957, 66 avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 7H2
Wage - $36.65/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% vacation pay
Number of Positions-1
Employment type – Permanent, full-time
Start date: As soon as possible.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the same field
Language: English
Job duties:
• Cut and install custom made sidings made of wood and wood substitutes.
• Understanding the requirements of clients and work on wooden sidings accordingly.
• Working in co-ordination with other skilled workers at job site.
• Duties at various locations to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and joint materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Other wood and related work at job site.
Work site environment: Dusty, noisy.
