Position Info:
o Position: Geological Technician
o Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
o Wage: $37.00~$40.00/hour (depending on experience)
o Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
o Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:
o Participate in geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic, or oceanographic surveys, field prospecting trips, exploratory drilling, well logging, underground mine surveys, and environmental audits and protection activities
o Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross-sections
o Assist in environmental audits and direct surveys or survey initiatives
o Assist in the preparation, transcription, or analysis of seismic, gravimetric, well log, and other geophysical and survey data
o Help prepare rock, mineral, or metal samples and conduct physical and chemical laboratory tests
o Support hydrogeological field and laboratory studies and assist in report preparation
o Handle administrative responsibilities, such as keeping filing systems and maintaining records

Job Requirements:
o Education: A two-to-three-year college program in a related field is required
o Experience: 1-2 years of related experience is required
o Language: English
