Arrowhead Paving Inc. has been servicing commercial and industrial paving sectors since 1975. The Company installs Commercial and Industrial concrete and asphalt paving for parking lots, sidewalks, patios and much more.
At this time, Arrowhead Paving is looking for skilled and qualified Concrete Finishers who want to make a career for themselves within the trade. Working at heights is a requirement for the role. Candidates must be creative, possess precision in duties, work well with others, ability to work well under pressure and implement problem solving ability when required. Applicants must have background in smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete surfaces to ensure a high-quality, durable finish.

Work location- On site
Salary- $32.00 to $36.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week
Terms of employment- Permanent employment Full time- Early morning, Flexible hours, Morning, Day
Starts as soon as possible

Experience- 2 years to less than 3 years
On site- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment- Dusty, At heights, Dangerous, Noisy, Outdoors
Work setting- Urban area, Commercial, Various locations
Responsibilities/ Tasks
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Additional information
Transportation/travel information- Own transportation
Work conditions and physical capabilities- Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination, Standing for extended periods
Own tools/equipment- Steel-toed safety boots
