Concrete Finisher Job

-Prepare, level, and compact gravel, soil, and base materials before concrete placement.
-Set, align, and secure forms for driveways, walkways, patios, pads, porches, and foundations.
-Place, spread, and finish freshly poured concrete using hand and power tools.
-Smooth and level concrete surfaces using floats, trowels, screeds, and edging tools.
-Apply surface finishes such as broom, stamped, decorative, or smooth finishes.
-Cut expansion and control joints and apply curing compounds.
-Ensure proper grading, slope, and drainage for finished concrete surfaces.
-Repair, resurface, and replace damaged or worn concrete structures.
-Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, measurements, and safety compliance.
-Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas at project sites.

-Completion of secondary school preferred.
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher or in related concrete construction work.
-Experience with forming, pouring, leveling, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces.
-Trade certification in concrete finishing is considered an asset.
-Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment safely.
-Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and performing demanding tasks.
-Comfortable working in dusty environments and varying outdoor weather conditions.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow measurements, grades, and project specifications.
-Flexible availability, including weekends and statutory holidays, as required.
-Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
