Computer Systems Engineer Job

Computer Systems Engineer to perform the following duties :

• Design and Develop REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using Next JS and Typescript to write\retrieve data from various databases like PostgreSQL and AWS Open Search Index
• Create reports\dashboards using Amazon QuickSight for business to review and make decisions
• Created Data Models and database schemas\tables based on business requirements for APIs to read\write\update data
• Create routes using KONG API Gateway for API traffic management on AWS EC2 instances.
• Implemented API Security and Access Control (OAuth/SAML, JWT, OpenID Connect, Web SSO, SSL etc.).
• Migrate infrastructure and applications written in node js and Kong to Amazon Web Services Cloud environment.
• Generate system usage reports, monitor system performance, troubleshoot, debug and automate alert mechanism in case of unexpected behavior. Fine tune performance as required.
• Provide support documentation, test suite, automate test execution and document best practices.
• Work in Agile methodology which includes Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums or Standups, Sprint Check-In, Sprint Review and Retrospective.
• Planning and Coordination for production deployments in Kong API Gateway, PostgreSQL, AWS using Terraform and GitLab.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or Electronics Engineering
