We are currently seeking a skilled Computer Systems Developer and Programmer to support system integration, development, and maintenance of our internal platforms.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will:
Design, develop, and maintain computer-based systems supporting internal operations and data processing
Develop and customize software components for integration with measurement tools and databases
Analyze system requirements and technical specifications
Write, modify, and test system-level code
Troubleshoot system performance and integration issues
Implement system updates, patches, and enhancements
Maintain documentation for systems and development processes
Collaborate with management and technical teams to improve system efficiency
Employment Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
OR equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in system development or programming
Work must be performed at the employer's physical location in Victoria, BC.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of system integration and software development
Experience with databases and internal platforms
Troubleshooting and performance optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
English required
Wage & Benefits
$55.00 per hour
Minimum 35 hours per week
Overtime paid as per BC Employment Standards
4% vacation pay
