Job Duties and Responsibilities

1) Write code: Use programming languages like C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript to write code for software applications
2) Test programs: Run programs to find errors and fix faulty code
3) Update programs: Modify existing programs to make them more efficient or user-friendly
4) Create software: Design and develop new software programs and apps to meet business needs
5) Update programs: Modify existing programs to make them more efficient or user-friendly
6) Master programming languages like C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript
7) Debugging: Find and fix errors in code
8) Write, modify, integrate and test software code
9) Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
10) Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
11) Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
12) Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
13) Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
14) May lead and coordinate teams of computer programmers
15) May research and evaluate a variety of software products.
16) Use logical and abstract thinking to solve problems
17) Manage the configuration of operating systems
18) Respond to security or usability concerns
19) Anticipate problems and resolving them before they impact users wherever possible
20) Use software engineering tools to automate some coding
21) Prepare reports for supervisors
22) Determine hardware requirements and create user manuals for software

Requirements and Qualifications
1) Bachelor Degree in Computer software
2) 5+ years working as Computer Programmer
3) Proficiency with programming languages. Numerous programming languages, such as SQL, Java , C++, or Python, are used to write code.
4) Data structures.
5) Debugging.
6) SQL.
7) Mathematical skills.
8) Problem-solving capability.
9) Communication skills.
10) Writing skills.
11) Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
12) Attention to detail and accuracy
13) Team management skills
14) Ability to prioritize work
15) Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite

Compensation for this position:
Job Type: Full- time and permanent position
Salary: $47.50 CAD/ hour. 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
