Position: Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer (NOC 22302)

Job duties:
• Supervise, co-ordinate, evaluate and coach employee and facilitate effective training program
• Develop Computer Numerical Control (CNC) program for project parts using engineering drawings and develop quality assurance program
• Create and set up tooling sheets per CNC programming requirements
• Require special tools to complete some particular jobs
• Attain and assess geometry file from the customer
• Test program accuracy to identify faults and make program corrections
• Follow Eire EDM Inc. established safety practices and regulation
• Design products layouts and optimize the setting of production facilities
• Collect and compile operational data and assist developing cost estimates, production schedules, products specifications and quality reports
• Develop and consistently optimize manufacturing and processing procedures and variables
• Set up 5-axis laser cutting machine; inspect the production processes
• Constantly update evolving technical knowledge to read & interpret blue prints, drawings, charts & tables and knowledge of machining principles, tooling, fixture and tool set up
• Perform other highly skilled CNC related technical duties
Experience and Education Requirement:
• Completion of College Diploma
• Two years related experience is required
