Job Description:
FS Tool Corporation is looking for full time Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist for 71 Hobbs Gate, Markham, ON L3R 9T9 Canada. There are 3 positions available.
Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
- Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations.
- Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- May set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.
- Entering program codes to achieve proper feed, speed, and tool path
- Defining and selecting appropriate grinding wheel package for various types of tooling
- Meeting and maintaining established production standards and quality.
- Knowledge of grinding applications (cylindrical, threading)
- Ability to read AutoCAD/Solid Edge drawings.

Job Requirements:
Hours of work are 40 hours per week (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $30.00/hour. Successful candidate must speak English. Completion of secondary school is required. Minimum work experience of 2 years tool grinding experience, such as drilling, milling cutters.
