Computer Network Technician Job

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data center operations, network monitoring, and computer networking. Duties:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
- Perform network monitoring and ensure system security
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Assist in the implementation of IPsec and other network security protocols
- Collaborate with software developers on Java-based applications
- Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- Configure and maintain computer networking protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF
- Manage virtualized environments using vSphere

Experience:
- Proven experience working in a data center environment
- Familiarity with BSD operating systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IPsec, Java programming, and SDLC methodologies
- Proficiency in computer networking protocols including EIGRP and OSPF
- Experience with vSphere virtualization technology
