We are seeking experienced Computer network technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer network technician
Job Duties:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications
Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks
Provide problem-solving services to network users
Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks
Install web server hardware and software
May supervise other workers in this group.
Job Requirements:
From 3 to 5 years of experience as a Computer network technician
Skilled in Computer Hardware & Networking
Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware, operating systems, and application software
Knowledge of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connectivity Excellent problem-solving abilities
Understanding of security software and how to install antivirus programs and monitor for cyberattack
Capacity to diagnose and solve complex network problems.
Provide quality IT support and service by interacting positively with our staff, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.
Responsible for identify, troubleshoot and resolve Windows / hardware and Operating System problems and escalate to the manager if necessary.
