Job Description:
Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 30-40 hours per week

Responsibilities
• Design CAD dental appliances using specialized dental design software (e.g. 3Shape).
• Manage and maintain CAM machines to ensure smooth production processes.
• Post-process 3D printed parts to meet high-quality standards.
• Design and print metal frameworks for dental prosthetics (such as metal partial dentures) using advanced 3D printing technology.
• Operate and maintain metal 3D printers to ensure optimal performance and consistent print quality.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of metal printing equipment.
• Communicate directly with the 3D printer manufacturer (based abroad) to resolve technical issues, perform advanced maintenance, and coordinate necessary repairs or updates.
• Organize digital and physical files and charts for streamlined operations.
• Scan office paperwork and documents into the computer system to enable a fully digital workspace.
• Ensure efficient work processes, scheduling, and procedural compliance.
• Maintain a weekly inventory list for all equipment and supplies.
• Handle general customer communications, including responding to inquiries, confirming design specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform other related CAD/CAM duties as assigned by the Employer from time to time, or as may be outlined in an updated job description provided to the Employee.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Completion of a two- or three-year college program in industrial engineering technology, dental technology, or a related discipline is usually required for industrial engineering or manufacturing technicians. An undergraduate qualification in Science (Physics) or Engineering is desirable.
• Proven experience in a similar position, preferably in a dental laboratory or dental manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (such as 3Shape, Exocad) and experience with 3D printing technology is highly desirable.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to liaise with international suppliers or manufacturers.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
