Computer-aided drafting (CAD) technician Job

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize assignments to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Utilize drafting software to create precise and accurate construction design drawings.
Conduct thorough field documentation and verify existing conditions to inform the design process. Engage in projects from inception to record drawing status.
Generate design and coordination Requests for Information (RFIs) for relevant stakeholders.
Utilize CAD and drafting workstations for design tasks.
Develop design sketches and refine them as needed.
Produce comprehensive documentation packages and drawing sets.
Review design drawings for compliance with specifications and criteria.
Prepare technical reports to convey findings or recommendations.
Provide supervision and training to other technicians and drafters when required.
Experience:
- 7 Months to 1 Year as a Drafting Technician

Education requirement:

- College Diploma : 1-2 Year related to Civil Engineering or Civil Technician

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
