Our Component Rebuilders are highly specialized experts in the remanufacturing of Caterpillar machine components. By utilizing Cat OEM reference material, they expertly disassemble, inspect, recondition, assemble and test components in order to meet our rigorous quality guidelines.

Job Duties:
• Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours and practices at all times in support of
Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practices.
• Follow Caterpillar reusability Guidelines and internal SOP & ISO procedures.
• Prepare maintenance and service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure internal and external customers’ requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Able to move to various work stations/benches.
• Repair/rebuild components for our customers, on time and cost effectively.
• Responsible for remanufacturing of all fluid power train components produced by Toromont Reman including but not
limited to transmissions, torque converters, pumps, motors, differentials, and final drives.
• Order parts and maintain awareness of delivery time.
• Schedule work at the bench and maintain/control work flow.
• Follow Caterpillar reusability Guidelines.
• Follow ISO procedures as posted.

Skills Required:
• Customer centric with excellent relationship management.
• Organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Self-motivated and energetic a team player who can work effectively in a high demand fast paced environment
• Able to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision
• Computer and systems literate (DBS, Excel and Word)
• Knowledge of CAT SIS, or experience with Toromont parts operations would be an asset.
• Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs.
• Able to obtain Driver’s Licence.

Experience Required:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable industrial environment.

Education Required:
• Trade certificate or equivalent technical experience.

Wage & Hours: $ 35.24 / h
• Number of hours per day: 10
• Number of days per week: 4
• Number of hours per week: 40
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 40
• Shift rotation: day / night shift.
