Communication System Technician
Pie Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking to hire a Communication System Technician for our Thunder Bay, Ontario office.
We offer a full range of media solutions for small businesses and advertisers.
These are the main responsibilities of the position:
• Install, test, and maintain TV broadcast transmission systems, studio cameras,
microphones, and related communication equipment used for live news and interviews.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues in communication lines, satellite uplinks/downlinks,
or studio equipment during live or recorded interviews.
• Provide technical support to news reporters and anchors by setting up communication
systems for live reporting, press conferences, or remote interviews.
• Install, maintain, and repair communication
• Test and adjust equipment, troubleshoot faults, and ensure smooth
transmission/reception
• Operate specialized testing equipment and tools
• May supervise helpers or apprentices
• Staying updated on new technology
This candidate will have a completion of an electrical or electronic program, and on-the-job training; however, work experience may replace formal education. Excellent English communication skills.
We are offering $36.14/hr for 40 hrs a week.
