Job Description:
• Analyze customer purchasing patterns, steel product demand trends, pricing conditions, and market developments to identify business opportunities and prepare recommendations for sales growth initiatives;
• Conduct market research on target industries, prospective customers, and competitive activities within the U.S. steel market to evaluate commercial opportunities and support business development strategies;
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers by managing commercial communications, evaluating customer requirements, and presenting the company's steel products and service capabilities;
• Evaluate sales performance data, customer activity, and market intelligence to identify revenue growth opportunities, evaluate customer retention trends, and prepare recommendations for commercial planning activities;
• Prepare commercial reports and presentations by analyzing customer demand, sales trends, market developments, and business performance indicators, and present findings for management review and strategic planning purposes;
• Administer ERP systems by managing customer account information, steel product orders, sales activity records, and operational data to facilitate business analysis and commercial planning;
• Prepare sales forecasts and commercial planning recommendations by analyzing customer demand patterns, historical sales performance, inventory conditions, and market trends;
• Evaluate prospective customers and identify customer acquisition opportunities by researching target industries and assessing commercial viability to expand the company's steel product market presence;
• Develop customer solutions by working with sales, logistics, production, and management teams to resolve commercial issues and improve overall customer satisfaction and business performance;
• Prepare commercial performance updates and market analysis reports for headquarters in Korea, respond to management reporting requests, and evaluate U.S. business activities to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and growth strategies;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field;
- Knowledge of market research, customer relationship management, business development, sales analysis, and commercial operations involving steel products or industrial products within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment;
- Knowledge of steel product sales processes, customer requirements, and commercial operations within the steel, manufacturing, or industrial sectors;
- Experience or familiarity with ERP systems for sales activity tracking, customer account management, operational reporting, and business analysis;
- Ability to analyze customer demand patterns, market trends, pricing conditions, and business performance data related to steel products and develop recommendations to support commercial decision-making;
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, headquarters personnel, and internal departments in a professional business environment;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
- Ability to prepare commercial reports, market analyses, and business presentations for management review and strategic planning purposes.
