The primary responsibilities include analyzing project plans, preparing cost estimates, researching prices of materials and labor, reviewing past performance data, and consulting with vendors and subcontractors. The Estimator will also participate in pre-bid meetings, present bid proposals, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL
Proficiency in estimating software and tools
5+ years of experience in concrete estimating or related fields
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
Self motivated leader that can drive innovation
Experience with SAGE/Timberline is required.
