Position Info:
• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.93/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:
• Design and deliver inclusive early learning programs that nurture each child’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Assess children's individual strengths and learning styles to create tailored daily care and educational plans
• Foster creative expression and self-confidence through interactive art, music, storytelling, and play-based learning
• Observe children's behavioral and developmental progress, maintaining open communication and detailed reports for families and supervisors
• Guide children in building positive daily life skills, including personal hygiene, independence in dressing, and healthy eating habits
• Maintain clean, safe learning spaces that promote children's safety, wellness, and emotional well-being
• Establish gentle behavioral guidance and clear classroom rules to build a safe and respectful community culture
• Support and mentor ECE assistants, students, and volunteers to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Build collaborative, supportive relationships with parents, colleagues, and local community service providers
• Ensure full compliance with provincial childcare licensing regulations and safety standards

Job requirements:
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, ECE Certificate
• Language: English
