Job Description:
• Develop, manage, and optimize advanced coating manufacturing processes to ensure stable production, high product quality, and continuous process improvement;
• Operate and optimize slot die coating processes, including control of critical parameters such as coating speed, thickness, and material viscosity;
• Manage A-side and B-side coating processes, including sequencing, alignment, and synchronization, to maintain proper coating flow and process consistency;
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain stable coating operations;
• Set up coating equipment and perform die gap adjustment and system alignment to support accurate and repeatable process control;
• Collaborate with Programmable Logic Controller (“PLC”) and other automation systems to enhance process stability and support automated coating operations;
• Monitor and analyze production data to improve yield, reduce defects, and ensure process reliability in coating operations;
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, consistency, and production efficiency;
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (“SOPs”) to ensure consistent and repeatable process control;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support overall manufacturing performance;
• Calibrate coating equipment and verify operating conditions to maintain efficient, high-performance operations;
• Review process conditions and production results to identify opportunities for improved coating consistency and stable manufacturing output;
• Maintain process documentation and technical records related to coating operations to support standardized manufacturing practices;

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field, plus at least two (2) years of experience in advanced coating manufacturing processes, slot die coating, or related coating process engineering in the electric vehicle battery industry; or, alternatively, at least four (4) years of experience in such fields;
• Hands-on experience in coating processes or a related manufacturing environment;
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies;
• Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation; and
• Experience with analytical and inspection equipment (e.g., SEM) is preferred.
