We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist Operators to join our team in Calgary
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings to determine machining requirements
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to minimize downtime
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards to finalize inspections
Adjust machine settings based on measurements and inspection results for continuous improvement
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols
Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements to meet production schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
Proven +3 Years experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with machining tools such as calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to safety guidelines
Proficiency with 2-axis and multi-axis CNC milling machines
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality standards
Must have college or university related CNC Machine courses
Physically capable of lifting 20–40 lbs as required
Must be Canadian citizen ,PR , or valid work permit
