CNC Operator Job

Ability to set up and operate CNC machinery, to produce metallic parts to customer specifications by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate Machinery (Lathe / Mill) to assist in the production process as directed by manager.
• Produce material at a productive rate.
• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• General facility maintenance.
• Physical checks of Production & Quality Control.
• Will confer with manager to resolve machining problems.
• Safety Awareness of machinery and workplace.
• Maintained work area organize and clean.
• Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Basic Qualification
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Understand how to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Ability to use measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, height gages.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to withstand temperature of a typical warehouse environment
• Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Exposure to loud noises.
