ANCHOR KITCHEN CABINET INC.
ANCHOR KITCHEN CABINET INC. ha as an immediate opening for CNC Machinist (NOC: 72100) at our location in Scarborough, Ontario.
As a CNC Machinist, you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Review and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables or examine sample parts to determine the necessary machining operations and devise the optimal sequence of these operations.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances, and then proceed to measure and mark workpieces accordingly.
• Prepare, operate, and sustain various machine tools, including computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, to execute precise and unique machining tasks such as cutting, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling, precision grinding, and other similar processes.
• Assemble machined metal components and subassemblies by employing both hand and power tools.
• Validate the accuracy of product dimensions and their adherence to specified requirements using precise measuring instruments.
• Potentially configure and program machine tools to be used by machining tool operators
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school;
• 1-2 years of experience as a machinist, tool and die maker or machining tool operator is required .
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 28.85/hour
Location: UNIT 6-7, 2010 ELLESMERE RD. SCARBOROUGH, ON. M1H3B1
