Job Description:
Advantage Machining is a custom machine shop that will handle your large and small quantity projects. Our company specializes in general machining and CNC, custom machine building and CNC turning up to 4” through bore and 80” between centres.
At this time, the Company is looking for skilled and qualified CNC Lathe Machinists who are reliable, excellent problem solvers, organized, possess impeccable attention to detail and time management skills. Machinists will be responsible for operating CNC machine and fabrication of Mechanical parts that help to improve projects. Ability to perform offsets and tool changes as required and needed and will be responsible for maintaining CNC machines such as lathe. Ability to detect malfunctions through observation.

Salary- $28.39 hourly / 37.5 hours per Week

Responsibilities/ Tasks
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Repair machine tools and parts
Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience- Computer numerical control (CNC) machines
