Duties and Responsibilities
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts as per manual
• Set up and operate computer controlled machines and other tools
• Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly of diesel engines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and directives from Manager
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
