Job Description:
Cimmaster Inc., located at 1020 Cardiff Blvd., Mississauga, Ontario, L5S 1P3, Canada, is looking for the position of CNC (computer numerical control) Machinists to perform the following duties:
Job Duties and Responsibilities of CNC Machinist:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine machining operation to be performed, and to plan best sequence of operations.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and layout workpieces.
• Set-up, Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision machining operations such as planning, drilling, precision grinding etc.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies manually, and with power tools.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy
• May set-up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators
Duration/Type: Full-Time
Education: College level Diploma / Certificate or equivalent experience
Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours a week
Overtime: 1.5 times after 44 hours of work per week
Salary: CAD$ 36.10/hour
