CNC (computer numerical control) machinist Job

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
Compute dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Measure and lay out workpieces for machining and assembly.
Setup and adjust production machinery, tools, and CNC equipment.
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerances.
Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Maintain inspection and production records.
Report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
Operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
Qualifications:

5+ years of machining experience.
Trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills • Mastercam CAD/CAM • CNC machine operation • CAD software • Experience with: automatic lathes, drill presses, milling machines, saws, tapping machines.
