CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist Job

A Machining Company in Kitchener looking for a CNC (Computer
Numerical Control) machinist

Job Responsibilities are listed below:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts,
and tables
- Repair machine tools and parts
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close
tolerance
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring
instruments
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring
instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance
to specifications using precision measuring instruments

The candidate should have at least 6 months to a 1 year of experience
working in this field. Working with boring machines, Computer
Numerical Control machines, drill presses, milling machines,
crew machines, surface machines, surface grinders, tapping
machines, tool grinders is required.
In addition, working in a fast-paced environment, tight
deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing
for extended periods, attention to detail, and overtime is
required.
Employment conditions: On call, Overtime, Shift, Weekend,
Night, Flexible hours
Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position at NMT
