CNC (computer numerical control) Machinist Job

B.S.B. Manufacturing (U.S.A.) Limited, located at 5316 John Lucas Drive, Burlington, Ontario, L7L 6A6, Canada, is looking for the position of CNC (computer numerical control) Machinists to perform the following duties:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of CNC Machinist:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine machining operation to be performed, and to plan best sequence of operations.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and layout workpieces.
• Set-up, Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision machining operations such as planning, drilling, precision grinding etc.
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies manually, and with power tools.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy
• May set-up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators

Duration/Type: Full-Time
Education: College level Diploma / Certificate
Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours a week
Overtime: 1.5 times after 44 hours of work per week
Salary: CAD$ 36.10/hour
