Job Description:
Psomagen, Inc. (Rockville, MD) is looking for Clinical Laboratory Technician.
Duty
• Conduct quality control for DNA and RNA samples and organize the quality control data;
• Analyze DNA and RNA samples’ concentration and quality for experiments, performing laboratory technique such as Tapestation;
• Prepare DNA sample library (collection of DNA fragments) through Whole Genome Shotgun Sequencing, using various library kits and measure, allowing researchers to identify and isolate specific DNA fragments for study;
• Construct RNA sample library (collection of RNA fragments) through RNA library kits, such as Total RNA, mRNA;
• Maintain records of experimental data and the execution of laboratory tests;
• Manage inventory levels of essential materials and supplies, ensuring timely procurement in accordance with organizational policies and procedures;
• Be involved in establishment of experimental guidelines through preparation and revision of Standard Operating Procedure.
Minimum Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Biology
