Client Caregiver for a person with high medical needs Job

Our family is seeking a kind, caring and experienced caregiver to provide in-home care at our residence in Concord, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with high medical needs, be kind-hearted and reliable.

You will be responsible for:

- Attending for a person with high medical needs and providing constant companionship
- Assisting with bedside and personal care such as personal hygiene, grooming,
- bathing, dressing
- Delivering mobility assistance such as walking and regular exercising
- Preparing dietary meals and assisting with the feeding process
- Carrying out basic health-related tasks such as dressing changes and assisting with medication and prescription usage
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as making the bed, washing dishes after meals, and laundry

Requirements:

- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience as a caregiver or in a related field
- Completion of Secondary School
- Completion of a training program (e.g. Caregiver) is an asset
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
- High attentiveness and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic including accountability, punctuality and good judgement
- Availability and flexibility to work weekends
- Good command of English

Compensation and Conditions:

- $21.00 per hour based on 30-hour work week
- Permanent, full-time position
- Location of work: Concord, ON, L4K 2 K6
