Job Summary
The Coast Fraser Inn is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will supervise staff, coordinate cleaning activities, and support daily operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Hire and train cleaning staff or arrange for appropriate training
Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
Inspect sites and facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
Assist cleaners in performing their duties when required
Coordinate cleaning activities with other departments
Recommend or arrange additional services such as repairs, renovations, painting, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
Receive payment for specialized cleaning services, as required
Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Previous experience in cleaning or supervision is an asset
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and nights
Qualified candidates who are reliable and motivated to lead a cleaning team in a hospitality environment are encouraged to apply.
