Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Reports to: Duty Manager

Full Time Position – Permanent Position
Availability: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Early, Morning and Day
Employment groups: Youth, Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Mature Workers, Apprentices, Refugees
Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:
- Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Maintain financial records
- Assist cleaners in performing duties
- Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Administration of the budget and adjusting as necessary to improve efficiencies in the work environment
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
- Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies as applicable
- Supervise and submit a report to the Office on each new team member that is supervised
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints while delivering great customer service while on site
- Attend regular manager meetings
- Report weekly hours and service report to the Office Manager
