Job Description:
• Oversee the work of cleaners, ensuring they meet safety and cleanliness standards
• Create work schedules and cleaning routines that cover all areas
• Create budgets, estimate costs, and keep financial records
• Ensure workers have the supplies and equipment they need, and report faulty equipment to management
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
• Check sites to ensure they meet standards and fix any mistakes
Job Requirement:
- Completion of secondary school required.
- Min. 3-5 years of experience as a cleaning (housekeeping) staff and/or supervisor OR Formal education in hospitality required.
Term: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week), Permanent
Wage: $30.00 ~ $33.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
Benefit: 5.77 % of salary as vacation pay
